ReviewsWhat our team says...
What I like most about working remotely is the flexible working hours. Although I stick to a regular routine, I can freely work my way around my schedule for the day. I learn new things daily, and I’m most excited about using a manual approach when it comes to functional and usability testing.
Working remotely gives me the freedom to make the most of my time. I can work in any location I prefer without wasting time in traffic. I also get to collaborate with different people who are friendly and professional, and in return, I get to contribute my knowledge and skills to the team.
Working from home also minimises the chances of getting sick, especially with the ongoing pandemic.
There is always something new to learn every day, and I enjoy working with great colleagues on new technologies such as Airflow, Python, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery.
Working remotely allows me to interact with a lot of people in different teams who perform different tasks. I get to learn and explore new technologies that the teams are developing, which is always interesting. Recently, I have started working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), and I’ve been enjoying using these platforms.
I am not restricted in my approach by not being in the office, it feels great to be recognised mainly for the quality of my work and not just for how many hours I work.
With the people I currently work with, no one is afraid of taking risks or scapegoating, and there is a culture of helping and sharing knowledge. I find Perl very useful and flexible. I’m also learning a lot about Redis and Postgres, as well as Docker and Chef.
A great thing about working remotely is the flexibility in terms of time and location. I can work in the morning or evening, whether at home or on the road, and still be 100% productive. The process is transparent in almost every aspect. Another advantage is the possibility of transitioning to other verticals.
I enjoy working in the technical stack, and I look forward to learning more new programming languages in the coming days.
It’s nice to know I’m part of something bigger even when working remotely, and I can make a positive difference in people’s lives. It gives me a sense of accomplishment.
I am currently working within the mobile application team, but I plan to broaden my horizons within this field in the future. I have seen how people have grown in their roles and I think I can learn as well by following their lead.
One of my favourite parts of working remotely is working flexible hours. I am currently working in sync with Malaysian time zone, which enables me to have fewer distractions at home. Initially, the time difference with my colleagues was a bit of a challenge, but I have adapted to it quite naturally.
With Zoom and Slack, staying connected with team members is no problem. My colleagues are very patient and considerate of the time difference, and when I have questions, I can reach out to them anytime and get quick responses.
In a nutshell, working remotely gives me a proper work-life balance. I get to organise my day and communicate with my family or colleagues on my availability and schedule in a more efficient manner. This eliminates distractions and lets me stay on schedule.
It has been great working remotely so far, and I’m looking forward to contributing more to the projects I am involved in.
Working remotely saves me time on the commute and enables me to be at home. I can split my day into multiple activities, whether it is spending time cooking, exercising, or walking my dog. Plus, my distractions are limited compared to working in the office.
Slack and Zoom make it easy for me to stay in touch with my colleagues. Having people from so many different places on our team is really cool, and getting assistance is very convenient since they are all extremely helpful and attentive.
